Ceri Langford MSc. BSc(Hons) - Managing Director

Ceri joined Moffatt Saunders as Managing Director in 2007 with overall responsibility for business management and client service delivery. A number of Ceri's most noticeable achievements since arriving have been to restructure to a more customer focused business. Ceri has been instrumental in the expansion of the business through the acquisition of Insurancemeans Ltd, Knights Insurance and Investment Services and Centurian Associates.

Ceri brings to Moffatt Saunders more than 25 years experience in the insurance industry including some 15 years in senior management positions with some of the worlds largest insurance brokers. Previous appointments include European Commercial Director - Credit & Political Risks at Marsh, Director Personal Insurances, at Willis, Director - Commercial Insurance at Willis and Operations Director - Corporate Insurance at Willis.

Ceri was awarded Managing Director of the year 2009 for outstanding business performance, excellent client retention and strong insurer relationships.

Phil Joiner ACII - Deputy Managing Director

Deputising for Managing Director on client and insurer issues. As a senior member of staff Phil specialises in managing the relationships of both new and existing large corporate clients. As a very experienced member of the company Phil's role also extends to mentoring staff and overseeing the various company divisions.

Phil commenced his insurance broking career in 1972, gaining wide experience in both personal and commercial insurances. In 1978 he successfully qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and became a Chartered Insurance Broker in 2001. In 2008 Phil was honoured with the CCV Group Chairman's Club award for this region.

Phil was one of the 2009 CCV Chairman's Club winners for excellent customer service and retention.

Paul Fieldhouse - Corporate Insurance Director

Paul joined Moffatt's in 2008 and is responsible for the overall operation of the Corporate Insurance division and also manages a portfolio of both existing and new key accounts. He brings with him over 30 years of experience, of which over 25 have been client facing.

Paul started his insurance career in the Birmingham office of General Accident in 1977 and having worked at a number of their branches, left in 1983 to join Malcolm Rudd & Co Ltd an insurance broker in Birmingham specialising in corporate business insurance. He became an equity holding director in 1988 and through various acquisitions and mergers The Thompson Rudd Group Ltd was created and eventually sold in 2004. Paul continued in his role as a Director until 2007.
